With the fundraising campaign in full swing, I checked in with Carlos this afternoon to see how new pages were coming along.  He sent me a couple of pics of the page currently sitting on his drawing table.  This is Page 40, which, besides looking absolutely incredible, means that Carlos is now past the halfway point in drawing the book.

So without much further ado…

Wow!  Carlos’ art gets stronger with every page he draws.

Thank you to everyone who has already pledged to support the book.  Four weeks isn’t a lot of time for us to raise the almost-$12,800 we still need to fully fund the project and make this dream of a racially-diverse comic book that can be enjoyed by all people of all ages into a reality.  So many people have been so gracious about tweeting and facebooking about the Kickstarter and I hope you will continue to do so and help get us to where we need to be by March 2nd.
